Tickets

How do I get access to the event?
If you registered for Amsterdam Business Forum, you will receive an e-ticket. This ticket will be scanned at the entrance of AFAS Live. Did you register and not receive an e-ticket? Contact our staff at customercare@denkproducties.nl and we will resend it.

I registered but am unable to attend
You can always let somebody else take your place. Just let this person show up with your ticket and we will take care of it.
In addition: all attendees will get 30 days on demand access to the recordings of all stage talks. So, you can still get everything that is shared on stage.

 

Access

What is the best way to get to the venue?
The most relaxed way is by train. AFAS Live is only a two-minute walk from Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA Station. If you travel by car, parking P6 is the best option, followed by P4, P5, and P10. There will be a reduced event rate for our attendees. Since we are fans of using public transport, we do not reimburse parking costs. Press the ‘event button’ at the parking machine upon leaving.

Can I leave the venue?
Yes, you can leave the venue for some fresh air during the breaks. You will need to show your badge to get back in. And our staff may ask for your e-ticket.

Where is my seat?
You can choose your own seat. All attendees, except VIPs and pre-registered groups, have free seating in the stands. VIPs (pink lanyard) have reserved seats with pink seat covers, while groups with a green lanyard, who are having an external lunch, have reserved seats with green seat covers. If you're attending with a colleague, make sure to enter the Main Stage room together. You can check the venue map to see where your seat is located.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, of course. Please let us know beforehand so we can reserve a spot for you and make sure one of our crew members guides you to the Main Stage Hall.

What time should I be there?
Our doors will open at 08.00. Main Stage program will kick off at 09.30 (sharp!). Our advice: try to arrive between 08.00 and 09.00. There is coffee.

Do you have a cloakroom and luggage storage?
Yes, we provide lockers where participants can securely store their coats. If you have larger items like luggage or bags, you can leave them with our staff, and you will receive a numbered tag to claim them later. Free of charge.

Where is the VIP stage?
The VIP stage is in the VIP area. You will receive a floor plan when you check in. And our hosts will show you if you can’t find it.

Where are the Learning Circles?
The Learning Circles will take place at an external location: BLVD14. You can find this on the floor plan, and our hosts will be happy to guide you there. Please note that access to the Learning Circles is by pre-registration only, and attendees will have a yellow lanyard. It’s just a few minutes' walk from AFAS Live to the BLVD14 venue next door, so please allow a little time for the walk.

Can I still participate in VIP sessions, Learning Circles, or the Group Lunch?
These sessions and the group lunch require pre-registration, so it is not possible to join them on the spot. Please note that all sessions, including the group lunch, are now fully booked. Group Lunch (green lanyard), Learning Circles (yellow lanyard), and VIP sessions (pink lanyard) are all fully reserved.

What is the program if I’m not attending any of the above-mentioned sessions?
If you're not attending any of these sessions, you will have access to the second stage: The Transformational Leadership Track. Additionally, there will be a Speakers' Corner featuring various Q&A sessions with speakers. There’s plenty more to explore during the breaks as well. All the available options are listed in your personal program and can also be found on the floor plan, so be sure to check both to avoid missing anything!

Talks

Will all talks be in English?
Yes, the entire seminar program will be English spoken.

Do I get the recordings of all talks?
Yes, you will get access to the recordings of all talks on Main Stage, Transformational Leadership Stage and VIP Stage. 30 days on demand.

Do I get slides/handouts?
We will make sure you get an XXL amount of bonus materials. All the recordings, blog summaries, visual recaps. And if speaker allow us to share their slides: the handouts.

Can I take pictures?
Yes, you can. Make sure to look pretty

Where do I find my personal program?
You will receive a badge at the entrance, this has a QR code with your personal program.

Can I get a selfie/signed book with the speakers?
Not all speakers will be available for this, for security reasons, so we can’t promise this. However, we do invite our speakers to mingle during the breaks. This year, we also have a bookstore on-site, where some of our speakers will be present at various times to sign books. Please check the schedule at the bookstore for specific signing times, which can be found on the floor plan.

 

Food

Will there be food and drinks?
All catering is included. We will provide plenty of quality food to ensure you have full energy and focus during the seminar. In both breaks, you can order as much coffee, tea, and soda as you like. We also have plenty of vegetarian options available.

Do you serve vegetarian food?
We will make sure there are plenty of vegetarian options, so you don’t need to send an email for this.

Do you take dietary requests into account? 
Yes, we take dietary requests into account. You can send your requests to customercare@denkproducties.nl up to two weeks before the seminar. We will do our best to accommodate them. If you are a VIP attendee and have submitted a dietary request, your meal will be available in the VIP area. If you are not a VIP, you can pick up your meal at the kiosk in the foyer (both locations can be found on the floor plan). For those attending external sessions, such as the Group Lunch or Learning Circles, your dietary requests will be forwarded to those locations and taken into consideration.
